Jag hoppas inte. Tron säger mig att jag aldrig är ensam. Aldrig någonsin behöver jag oroa mig för att få lov att stå ensam mitt i svårigheter och problem. Det finns alltid vägar för den som också vandrar i ödemarken. Där det ser mest ödsligt och tomt ut kan vi ändå känna oss omslutna och trygga genom att Gud aldrig är längre bort än att han hör våra hjärtans innersta tankar och betryckets suckar. I smärtan och tomheten kan det ändå finnas ett ljus som lyser i mörkret och mörkret har inte fått makt därmed.
